Just outside of Walcott Iowa stands the farm that my family has owned for owned for over three generations. When you go to the farm you can find little bits of each generation when they worked there. I follow the path of my father and grandfather working on the farm except I only do so in the summer. As hard as the work seems at times and as hot as the temps get there is always a cool breeze at the perfect time completing my definition of bliss in America.I know for a fact that when I become an adult my children will get to experience the farm in the same way i have. it truly is a major part of my life and has been the employer or my family for over three generations now and i intend on giving my children the same experience as what i have been given.Wednesday, April 25, 2012

I think that I would really like to work on a farm. This is something that I have never done, but I do love to dig in the dirt and cultivate plants. You are gaining an experience that many people never get to have in their lives.
